Recreation
Much of Lou's recreation is computer-based—he spends a lot of time writing, interacting with the Internet, and "playing" with Word, Excel, Photoshop, and other similar programs, mostly in some sort of creative activity. He spends a lot of time contributing to Wikipedia, and he admits to a minor addiction to Spider Solitaire.
His television viewing is limited to the Learning Channel, the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, A&E, C-SPAN, and the like, plus Steelers football and Duke University basketball, especially during March Madness.
Lou listens to music when he's driving, and his favorites are classical, country, and oldies. His MP3 files include folders for those categories, with special folders for (in alphabetical order), ABBA, Beatles, Glen Campbell, Carpenters, Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, John Denver, Billy Joel, Cyndi Lauper, Rusted Root, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon, John Philip Sousa, James Taylor, and the Village People.
